I have been married to my lovely wife Beverly since 1970 and we have 8 inside/outside cats that used to be ferrel. My favorite animal is the TIGER.
I retired from MIT Lincoln Laboratory late 2015.

BIO Art has always been a passion which I pursue as a hobby in my spare time. During the late 1970s I created a part time business creating direct metal sculpture from brass, copper and stainless steel.
From 1986 to 1988 I enjoyed painting miniature pewter figurines, of various scales, using artist oils. I created about 50 figurines of dragons, warriors and beautiful woman.
Finally in 2002 I discovered the wonderful world of Digital Art and began using Poser and later added Bryce, Terragen and DAZ Studio.

Very interesting terrain, though I suspect the cut off mountains are at the edge. The 3D clouds are as good as I've ever seen for cumuli. Believe this: they are risky business - hard to make right.

Great work my frient, I love the eagle and sky. However - if the eagle would cast some shadow the image would be perfect.

Nice composition, Michael. I like the ground textures and terrain. I must try experimenting more now, that I successfully reinstalled v.0.919, and tried TerraMaker to produce some terrains for Terragen. I saw some clouds like this today, on a train journey with my grandson. He was only interested in the trains, of course. Regards, John.

Agree with Rich2. Nicely done. But don't be scared to keep on with 3D, I have done my Terragens exclusively 3D for months - not that they are that great... But nobody complains!
