Description
I have been stumbling around Spearfish Cyn for 3 weeks.
The heat, snakes, bugs and haunts wanted me to leave, but Gold does funny things to a mans mind.
I heard a old legend, I believed, so I looked.
I knew the cave was there, because I believed.
No real proof, except the desire to find the Gold.
Gold does more to a man than any women can or could.
Once found, the joy is over whelming.
Too soon friends become enemies, distrust sets in.
A single word may spark a fight or even a killing.
Gold makes men scurry around like little rats, hiding their Gold.
Always looking back to see if their "friends" are watching.
So I hunt alone.
I found the cave, black sand all around. I saw the stream disappear into the back wall of the cave.
Jumping in, I swam under the wall for 50 ft and surfaced to a dank, dark, musty grotto. Cloudy, opaque water.
My eyes adjusted to what little light they was. Black sand and gypsum were all around me.
Gold, beautiful Gold.
Now that I found it, I have to make sure no one can take it away from me.
My Gold, my Gold, not yours.
