Description

Yesterday, this image was represented in colour and today's efforts I tried to achieve a film and print quality that can be seen in the works of photographic pioneers a century before. The digital darkroom is certainly a non-major health issue when compared to the chemicals and environmental hazards our forefathers faced in the creation of their art. This image is dedicated to the memory of German photographer Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932). Thank you for stopping by. Vielen dank das Sie vorbei gekommen sind. Technical Information: CAMERA: Canon with 50mm Macro, exposure range f11-16 on tripod FILM: Fuji-Sensia 100 ASA, processed normal LIGHT: Norman 1250 single light with a mini softbox SEPARATION: Nikon LS-2000 scanner, full frame

its my fav of the both variations. i simply love b/w, has more character in form and lines, the colours often are like jewelery ( Schmuck ) and hidds the character with this. my VOTE #:O)

Quite a stunner you have here. The grey tones are perfect in all aspects and a wonderful composition to top it off. Beautiful work.

It also reminds me of Edward Weston's work....with the super tonal work and sharp details. Beautiful crop, A perfectly presented macro. Lovely b+w! =)
