Description

Back in the early 1950's I read a book called the Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham, my first intro into the world of Futurism and Sci.Fi... The story of spores from space landing on the earth and causing total blindness of the entire population...eventually the the spores flowered and developed into Human Fly Traps.....nightmares followed :-)... The BBC made it into a wonderful series, rivalling the great Dr.Who....who remembers Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker from that series ...?????? Anyway, this is a combination of FractalViZion and KPT FractalExplorer

Beautiful Hawk! Much moreso than those nasty Triffids were! An awesome book, and made into a movie as well, which was also excellent. I have to admit to being a diehard 'Dr Who' fan! Saw most of the Tom Baker episodes! Love the brilliant colors in this fractal too! Leanndra

What a beautiful image. I've read John Wyndham's The Chrysalids, but never got round to reading the Triffids. And I'm sorry to having admit that I missed most of Dr. Who (loved Tom Baker though) but I remember the intro of the series vividly. That music will always be recognized! Anyway: well done!
