Description

These are just some lamps i did for a speed modeling challenge. Gold ones took 30min each to model and render. Detailed one took 50min total. Colored one took 25min total.

All impressive looking renders. The two on the left seem to be glowing all over though, especially the top one. Looks a bit too blurry (is that a word?)

Had an art instructor who held there was no such thing as an attractive lamp. He would constantly challenge me to find one. Ultimately taught me to value function as much as form. I can't imagine speed modeling. I get too fascinated by little details.

Thanks. Some might look blurry because i had to resize the image. I saw that challenge at cgarchitect, im putting some new images together to see if i can qualify.
