It was bound to happen sooner or later (the latter being most evident); my first attempt at painting hair and bravely, yet hesitantly, posting the final results. Even with the fantastic help of brushes, I still find this task to be daunting and an ultimate test of patience versus skill. Given enough practical experience, I believe I will get the hang of this technique and style soon

Hon, this is far far better than my first attempt at painting hair!! You're right, it is daunting but I think with a little perserverance and practice we get better at it each time we try! A tablet is a major help too, at least for me although I know there are people posting images on here painting with a mouse that just blow me away!! Lovely image and her hair is wonderful!! Excellent for a first attempt!!

Excellent work on the hair, it is really good for your first time. I love the color and it has movment. I look at photos to get an idea of what I want my hair to look like. I love the sunset too. Excellent work!

You did such a wonderful job with painting. I know it is difficult painting hair. I've attemped it a few times but with a mouse it gets very frustrating. Keep it up. Excellent artwork!!!

Being one who is in awe of anyone who can paint hair that doesn't look like a string mop like my hair painting does, I have to say you did an incredible job! I suppose I will never truly be able to create painted hair because it DOES take large amounts of patience, and that is something I don't have a whole lot of LOL All that aside, you did an amazing job here!!!
