Description
This is the title, of one of my favourite of all time instrumentals, by my favourite pianist, Pat Coil.
Played with the Woody Herman Band in the 80's. His musical beginnings go back much further however, when he was a boy, Stan Kenton hid him behind some drum cases underneath the piano at what turned out to be a very memorable concert for the young aspiring musician.
Coil has also worked with, among others, Carmen McRae, Nancy Wilson, Barry Manilow, Barbara Streisand, Dionne Warwick, Bette Midler and Pat Metheny, and he has also written for many top movie and TV projects.
Just my mood today after poor Cathy's Poser sent up some type of error message and kept crashing.

Well, Kenton and Herman both had some killer bands. I saw Woody in the 80's playing in a shopping mall?!?!? They sounded fantastic, but it was really sad to see a giant in a place like that!! The image is wonderfully detailed!! EXCELLENT work!!

Sorry to hear about Poser crashing, it's a beast at times. And you mention Stan Kenton...an automatic vote just by mention. I saw Benny Goodman play right before his death, so your Kenton reference really brought some memories to me. Gorgeous portrait with lots of detail, and I'm glad you could post! Excellent work!

Very beautiful. The thing that grabbed my attention is her lips. They are perfectly done. Just the right shade and gloss. Young and coltish looking. Nice work. I love the natural look of her.
