This photo is from our 20th anniversary trip to Hawaii (Kauai) in January. I live in Colorado, so this was a nice place to visit in winter!
I enjoy sharing my photos with the Renderosity community and I'm thankful for the comments from such talented artists! BTW - I also understand some French and Spanish, and welcome comments in those languages as well as English.
BIOI've been interested in photography since taking a class in the 4th grade. My camera broke a few years ago, so I hadn't done much since then. My husband got a new compact digital camera in December, so I've begun taking photos again. My daughter, chicajm, introduced me to this site.
I started my own company in May 2005 - No Small Dreams Productions. We make family-friendly student films. My daughter produces the films and I manage the business, do the catering and make the costumes. We just produced our first film together called "What Are The Odds?", a comedy about high school life and homecoming. You can see the trailer on our website at www.nosmalldreamsproductions.com.

Think I would be starting to run back to beach. If you were closer perhaps this would have come clearer. Still gets the point across. Lot's of mine head for the recycle bin so no worries.

Yeah, this is where I wished we had a better zoom. I couldn't get any closer without the risk of getting the camera wet! As you can tell from the size, I cropped it a lot.

I bet your husband must have been a little nervous? Just looking from here gets me nervous. Excellent and daring capture. Aloha

Actually, he wasn't nervous at all. He stood out there for quite awhile just watching the waves. He's a pretty cool customer - and an excellent swimmer!

Waves like that are null and void over here in The Netherlands... Unless there is some big ass storm going on, but - surprise, surprise - you won't see me on the beach then... Hope to see waves like this one day when I move to the USA... But since I'm moving to Missouri, there won't be much chance of that anytime soon... Great pic...
