Description

- Scotland - Some of you asked how the wonderful window of the church you could see in the last two postings would look from inside. I didn't want to post this photography, because I don't like it very much. The interior looks chaotic with all the mixed stuff of different times. Old weathered walls, new columns, ugly spotlamps, and the beautiful but intensively colored window doesn't fit into the view. No harmony at all. But here it is and do you share my opinion? I couldn't get another point of view because of the bad light conditions and in other directions it was to dark. Thanks for your interest and every written word! ;o)

The "ugly" you see is all part of the old place's character I think. It's really not ugly, just different. You do some awesome work and this is no exception. vote

i see what you're saying, Rita, and i agree with you. they could have made the interior more beautiful by not trying to modernize some parts and keeping other parts in the older style. i don't like the spotlamps either. but that doesn't say anything about your photography. you took a picture of this place the way it is, showing its reality. you have it to show and to remember. It's an excellent piece of work in the historical sense. i would have a difficult time with this shot. but as doug said, you did great with the lighting and POV! You did a fantastic job considering what you had to work with!!! :)

Different styles put together missing the connection with each other, that's not beautiful. Nevertheless an impressive shot, because light and POV are so great! Excellent work, Rita!
