Description

Some may say there is beauty in perfection, but what would life be if we were all perfect? Straight noses, no blemishes, symmetrical in all the "normal" ways. To me, perfect is just another word for normal. Beauty is in imperfection. That little crook in the nose makes things all the more worthwile. Art is in the mistakes of the brush and makes it all the more beautiful. As I often say, how happy would we be without a little sadness? The rusty factory is all the more beautiful than the factory when it is brand new. The sunset is better with a few clouds in the way now and then. I see "perfect" women walking about all the time and they do not attract me in the least. Their curves all go in the right direction. I like a woman whose curves go in the opposite direction. Their smile is just perfect, and always there. I like a woman who only smiles when she really means it. To me, she is just perfect, but not normal. The beauty of it is in the imperfection.

I completely agree with everything you have said here. I'm glad there are people like you out there that can find our imperfections to be beautiful

Perfect? Is there really such a thing? How boring life would be without our imperfections. They define us as individuals. And who would judge what is perfect if everyone was the same? Points to ponder. Excellent writing, You made me stop and think, Now isn't that the purpose?

Well written, so refreshing to read this. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what you wrote couldn't be more true.
