Over on the nex dune crest you can make out that same circular imprint; perhaps was left by the suction cups of a gigantic octopus.

Interesting terrain. I see a giant alien head looking up into the sky. It is lying on its back. I like the texture of the sand.

Yep, it's definitely some kind of desert leviathan's head (with eyelashes, even). Wonderfully imaginative terrain with excellent surfacing and lighting.
