Description

Haven't had much time to explore all my imaging tools, too many commitments that I must honour, so, here is one of my old shots - really old :-). For those of you who are in the know - this was taken with a Nikon F and 135mm f3.5 Nikon lense :-) I used to do a lot of this type of illustration for magazines (Gerhard, you are amazing with your insight). So, I dedicate this image, made so long ago to Gerhard who has seen my roots :-) Thank you all for being so kind and for using so much of your valuable time to view and comment on my artistic spasms. I value all highly. Thank you!

Wonderful shot, must have been hard to shoot this, I'm sure Elks like all deer species have a very good sense of smell, so hard getting it this close? Anyway just admiring this photo.

Wonderful old photo Paul! The lighting and grain in this one make it extra special. How close were you to this guy? You must have been downwind and quiet. :) Great photo, thanks for sharing!

If memory serves, I was about 40 yards distance laying in the grass and was using Tri-X film and processed it in D76 1:1, hence the grain.
