Artist's Statement
I work mainly in a 2-D forum. I use the program from Jasc called, Paint Shop Pro, and version 7 is my preferred version. I would say most of my work borders on the Folk Art, Americana, and Country style. Every piece I make starts with a blank white canvas and I build from the bottom up. I do alot of mouse painting.
I also write poetry and have been published twice. I also enjoy photography and have had one of my photographs published in a book as well.
I have a couple of website's inside MSN. One is called KanDu Designs, and the other is called The Elephant Site, Check them both out sometime.
You can find the link for KanDu Designs, under all of my Gallery pictures.
The Elelphant Site's Link is http://groups.msn.com/TheElephantSite
*My accomplishments here at Renderosity:
I was interviewed by the staff here and it was published in the Renderosity Interactive Magazine or RIM. March/April 2004 - [Volume 3/Issue 1]
**My proudest moment's at Renderosity, have been meeting fellow artists, and making some wonderful new friends.
Hope you enjoy viewing my work.

wonderful start, tiny suggestion, your lake is great, coloring is wonderful, but perhaps a wee bit of smudging to get the 'ripple' sort of effect you see in most lakes. :) otherwise it's another awesome pic!!!

Beautiful Work Vikki! Looks real good to me, maybe a little ripple on the surface of the water, but other than that Super Excellent and a V.

I think the water looks fine. Since the mountain touches the lake.. you need as much reflection of the mountain (size) as you have mountain (size). Notice the mountain in the reflection is very small compared to the actual mountain? Make them the same size.. Then add water and ripple effects... waalaa... perfect! I might push the mountain back a bit and make it greenish to look like vegetation, since your pattern already looks a lot like trees etc... Oh, the Sky and foreground are fantastic and perfect already. Beats anything I can do with just a paint program! Bravo! Dave :^) V
