This image really works great as a duo-tone. The subtle shift in gradation and contrast level is pefect. The 'Zone System" of Ansel Adam is certainly at work here. However I wish you would have told us where this structure is. V

Loads of character here, great use of B&W, and very sharp. I might have been tempted to add some grain to make this look like an 'old' photo. IMHO of course!

Thanx for that idea- it is a valid one that I tried when doing this photo. However it lost a bit of the detail that I liked when I did the grain in varying amounts. When there was a good balance between those 2 (grain & detail) it just want enough grain to warrant it.

I really like the tones. Windows, doors, textures, lots to look at. This is one of those photos that seems to have captured more than just a photo...if that makes sense.
