Description

The wind that crosses the crest of the ridge had sculpted the drifts into shapes like breaking waves. We used a drystone wall like a handrail to link two tops. Along its length the snow was piling up like this on one side of the wall, it seemed a shame to spoil it with footprints, like knocking over natures snow-man! ^^/\^^ Beinn a'Ghlo Perth & Kinross

You must have been standing deep in powder for this. What a freezing look. But worth it.Creativity at best for what you did with POV.

Brrrr cold. Great low angle shot, like the way the snow reflections are caught. Nature has a way of making art on it's own. Steve

Reminds me of a winter back c1980, 'in deepest, darkest Lanarkshire', Anthony. Our police landrover got stuck in drifts, near Carnwath, and had to give up a search for a boy who was thought to be lost. It turned out that he was snug in a farmhouse about a mile from our spot. We were lucky to extract ourselves, and get back to Carluke, hours later. Even under the old greatcoat, liner, tunic etc., it felt really cold. I believe it was -16C, not counting the wind chill. Regards, John.
