Description

This is my Very First, and I mean my absolute first try at Terragen. Be kind with your comments please. I have no clue what I am doing with the program. Hehe so this is what I came out with. Enjoy. Being a beginner is hard. I am still learning how to unzip extras into poser and not lose them. ROFL.

One of the most important things in Terragen is finding the right camera angle and this you did perfectly here.. the rest with textures (which can also be from bitmaps) etc. etc. can always be learned. You did a wonderful job here.. I do like this POV very much!

I dont know what Terragen is. But I do know what I like, and I like this. If terragen is some 3D program, and you made this pic. then all I can say is excellent work for first render. Looks real.

Tell you what Rae, first shot perfect success terrific terrain and POV beautiful landscape work all around. Yep the camera angle you just adjust that arrow till you get what you want. You can download plug-ins (effects) from the Terragen web site (freebies, I love that word he-he) very easy to install not like Poser (which can drive a sane person insane) just un-zip to a file of your choice a temp file is good practice then just drag and drop all the files direct to the main Terragen folder. (no runtime and where should I put these files nightmare) When you open Terragen and you want to use an effect, example a terrain effect click on the effect dialog box Terragen finds what you installed in the main folder then click add and adjust the effect to get what you want. A must have plug-in is "water works" you can do fun stuff with this plug in when you add water to your scene. You may already know all this just helping. Listen need help on Bryce or what ever I use about 8 or 9 programs and I would be happy to pass on what I do know. ANYTIME..IM or e-mail. George "V"

Hey, welcome to Terragen world Rae! Very good pov and terrain, and you wouldn't believe how much better this is than my first attempts (which I didn't DARE upload!) Keep at it - guarantee you're gonna get hooked. Can't wait to see more . . . .
