Oh wonderful ,it`s the sun in all his glory ,how I long for her warming rays ,this is just what I need to shake of the gloom of clouds and rain,rain ,rain . Thank you for the explanation what a winters plaque is . By the way Rik you wrote winter plague in your introduction ,that must be a Freudian slip ..LOL

just like Dindin, I see sunshine in this one. Maybe because that is what I most desire after almost 2 months of unusual winter weather for this region. Part of your feeling down must be somewhat like this "Cabin Fever" feeling. Being able to make bright colored fractals is such a therapy and this one surely made me perk up.

Looks like stawberry orange to me! A terrific explosion of color. I saw on Myth Busters the other night where they were trying to see if eating a bunch of Pop Rocks and drinking soda would really make your stomach exploded. They took a pig's stomach and loaded it up, While it certainly expanded in size there was no great explosion. I know that has nothing to do with this fractal, which is wonderful, but for some reason it made me think of that.

Excellent swirl and light from this image like a Sun God mandala. Don't worry about the comments - I, for one, talk to the images I like whether one comments mine or not. Waste of time to "keep score" - it's the art!

Pizza! Wow Rik, you created a fractal pizza....this is a very cool....."hot" image. The more you look at it, you see a red flower power image coming from behind. Super layering work Rik, another fun image! (=
