The hair is beautiful. It really shines golden in the light. The eyes are very clear & deep but would they have two points of reflection in them ? Are you using just the one light or two? It just seems that there is a reflection in the eyes coming from an angle where there is no other light on the character ! I may be completely wrong. Something just looks a little funny in the eye section. Cant pick a fault with the rest of it at all though. Matt :-) PS: Commiserations to brat526 for missing that all important first spot. The irony is that if you hadn't typed the first sentence, You might have got it.:-)

i set the eyes up with a specular setting very high and this is the reflection it got from the single light..i do agree it doesnt look perfect but that is the way the puter figured it(very slightly inhanced)..i will have to take a single light and try this on my daughter to see what reflections we get.thanks.

She looks very pretty!! Her hair looks beautiful!! The only thing I noticed is that I can't really see her eye lashes.

O.K.checked the lighting on my daughter and it is much different than this..just a single circular glow at about 9 oclock on the iris of the right eye and just a slight glow on the other in the same place..thanks so much Matt for pointing this out..

I love her hair and her eyes as well as the softness of the lighting - however, the shoulder on the left hand side of the image looks a lil off kilter or maybe thats a trick of the light?? Other than that its fantastic hun S Stunning werk!

It always impresses me how you try so many different things and get such great results. I wish I were braver, but alas, I tend to stick with my old tried and true, for fear that I will fail at any attempt to do something different. I would be the last person to suggest you do something differently because I am always amazed by your work. I think she looks wonderful :-)

We tend to stay inside a certain box and feel that if we go outside that we wouldn't be as good as we are in our comfort zone. You have gone outside the box and I like it and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. Just be you and do what you do best and I'll be a fan and a critic all in one. Your portrait is beautiful and find no fault in it. Lighting is amazing!! Continue to be talented and blessed!!

Someday you just might turn into a halfway decent artist. WINK. LOL. Amazing stuff, bill. (If ya' talk to your ID and your SUPEREGO, your EGO will be kept in a check and balance format - kinda' like our federal gov't is 'supposed' to be set like). V

I always enjoy your art because you do take risks and are always trying new things and all of your art is so worth viewing. This image is lovely, she looks so tender, however if you are asking for suggestions on how to improve it, the only thing I might suggest is to experiement with the lighting on her overall skintone, making it more harmonious with her hair color. I think this would give her a little more warmth and glow. Other than that, it's an excellent work. :o) CC
