Description

This is a render of a completed section of my Mars Base scene. This is intended as a virtual set where live actors will be composited in later. Which is why it doesn't have any people in it. When I've completed the scene I will probably put in a character for the fun of it. Thanks for looking and commenting. :)

I could be nitpicking, and I can't offer a good solution, but the rust seems not good to me. Still a good scene though.

Well, not to make excuses, but not all rust looks alike. It depends on the metal. I've seen rust like it, which is why I used it. Thanks for the commentary.

You do know that our military have a base on Mars right!? Lots of remote viewers also saw underground installations built by the Martians long long time ago before some migrated to our Earth. Anyhow, great piece of sectional view. Love to see the rest of the areas!!

Thanks, everyone. I'm close to finishing the texturing. After that I will work on the lighting. My next post will probably include several renders of different angles and close-ups.

If you need actors for the scene, I'll volunteer. As long as I can take my laptop with me to Mars. :) Excellent work!

Fantastic modeling and texturing. As a Bryce artist I long to be able to create materials/textures as realistic as this.
