Before I commented on "The Family", I had a look at the rest of your gallery. OMG! Truly outstanding landscapes, beautiful, almost meloncholic lighting. with a consistent love of silent space. That said, it calls into question your intention. The Family has a Diorama feel, like mannequins in a museum. Perhaps you were going for the very still dead-pan portraits of the period. As a viewer, my first reaction is your people could use more expression but I see it as a recurring theme in your work and I'm not the first to mention it. So, you're either going for that feeling or posing faces isn't your highest priority. Enjoyed looking at your gallery and I look forward to your next post. Thanks for putting it out there.
