Description

Historians and archeologists have had it all wrong. Long before there were Egyptians, there were D'gyptians. They were masters of construction. Living between d'Nile and the lush Saharan Rainforest, they built the most wonderful cities and temples and malls, all out of wood. They developed the first lumberyard. They started the first carpenter's union and they invented the first bronze nail, thirty five years before the Bronze Age even started. All this was culminated on a huge scale, when they built the Grand Hoktoofer (d'gyptian for 'great big pointy-thing'). In the above illustration, we see the 14 ton solid gold capstone being installed. Soon after completion, the D'gyptian civilization faded when the Sahara was devoid of any trees, plus the recent invention of a new building material called stone.

You had to have had Lincoln Logs as a kid! All your images with the sticks/wood remind me of those. Another excellent image!

I'm a carpenter by trade, and yes, I've known the history of the D'gyptians for many years. The reason these structures aren't standing to this day is due to massive termite infestation caused by harvesting all the trees and forcing them to feed off their monuments! Great render and nice execution of this educational piece! Excellent work!

Monumental task to finish! Nice details to show what we've missed out from our stupid textbooks of brainwash. Very well done!!

dgyptian...d'Nile...devoid FUNNY!! A cup of hot coffee at 5 am'ish is now somewhere between my lap and the floor. Superb lattice work! D'Archeologists will have to stop their incessant theoretical banter about "how the D'gyptians did it....I mean, its clear as day. smile (=

Absolutely ingenious; and you wouldn't credit it but the C'gyptians before them constructed huge tyrranomids using dinosaur bones which accounts for ... V

What isn't generally known, nor can be seen from the excavations, is that shortly after completion of each Grand Hoktoofer, they all collapsed. The D'architects of the day forgot to factor in the weight of the capstone. Time after time, they rebuilt and repeatedly the same thing happened. They became D'apathetic at about the same time the trees all wore out... smiles Thanks for the laugh!! :)
