Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 --- Apophysis 2b17 Well I keep talking about a new, more abstract, "fractal" phase and so here goes.... Panny Brawley (pannyhb) and I were passing a upr she'd started back and forth last week seeing if we could get it to "behave itself". In the course of all the tweaking, as is usual with me, I totally lost sight of what we were trying to do and mangled the image beyond recognition - She says it has a swampy, "Amos Moses" vibe - lol. Anyhow, since it was so different from what we'd started with and really only retained a single, modified layer from the original, she was nice enough to let me keep what I'd done! This one and the next one I post in a few days, after it tells me what it's name is, both came from the inspiration I got from her start. Thanks a BUNCH, Panny - you're THE BEST! Thanks VERY much for all of the encouragement and support y'all have given me with your wonderful comments and votes - its what keeps me going! And, as ever, thanks for stopping by! Rick

Rick, you are toooo kind:) If folks could see the lemon I sent to you to for advice, they'd laugh their socks off! You have made a wonderful, mystical piece of art from what was (take my word for it folks) a piece of fractal junk! And best of all, though the journey you showed me what a real artist can do! Bravo to you, and may Jerry Reed be proud!!!

Missed this image at first. But when I saw it in the top 20 my first impression was "Dali". Must be the shapes of the lines in the upper part. This is beautiful art, Rick, you should be proud of yourself being able to make it.

Wonderful abstract piece, Rick! Your colors are amazing... and the vibe is really cool, tho different for each viewer... for me it is reminiscent of the swamps of Louisiana. Well done!

jambalaya - i think - a mess of soup with onions and stock and lobsters and anything else that one can find - all sorts of spices and an exquisite composition is made
