Title: Weep, Liberty II
A little something different. The main reason for posting this is not to get comments (although they are always welcome), but to get people to make copies of this picture as a gesture of support for America and especially our military at this time of trouble. I would love nothing better than to see people put this picture on their Web sites, posters, T-shirts, book bags, whatever, and I give permission to anyone and everyone to do so. I only ask a couple of things: 1) Don't alter this image (ie, taking my name off it) in anyway other than to resize it or compress the file, 2) if you can manage to make money with this picture (T-shirts, posters, etc.), send the profits to a worthy group that supports the military or emergency services, and send me a note telling me what a cool thing you did, and 3) send this image to as many other people as you can.
That's it. Enjoy, and God bless.

Lolal, I'm very sad you feel that way. My father, my father-in-law and both of my brothers have been in the military. I'm not, and I'm at an age where they're not likely to take me. I've given blood, I've sent money, and frankly, I can't think of anything else I can do to help at this moment, though I wish I could. So I made some pictures in hopes people would pass them around and drum up support for the people who are putting their lives on the line. Pardon me for wanting to keep my name on the pictures if they do use them. But I'm not profiting by this other than by the joy of seeing people, for once, feel a little patriotic, a little united and a little proud. So if you think that's wrong, fine. I can take it on the chin. It's nothing compared to the people who have lost their lives and will lose their lives. Next time, though, refrain from swearing, please. It only lowers people's opinion of you.

There's an old saying, mechmorph, cynical as can be, but unfortunately still true: "No good deed goes unpunished". So sorry someone had to spoil your contribution by proving it. Don't stop the good work anyway.
