"Historic Picture of Oct. 30th, 2003"
It looks like a sunset but it isn't. This is the strongest Northern light I've ever seen in Germany. It was late in the evening of Oct. 30th 2003. when a strong substorm of the sun hit the earth. Notice that there was no clear part in the sky. The aurora was so strong, that it was shining through the whole cloudmass. The watch-conditions have been very bad...
