Description

Apophysis of course!!! name/border/ layers PSP I was very fortunate today. I was on my way back from some errands and decided to stop at a lake for some pictures. a few miles ahead where I was going to pass an intoxicated man lost control of his suv and crashed into a chicken restaurant and killed a customer. I could have been there when he crossed over the street. he got out of the suv and took off running. a witness followed him , and he caught a bus. the witness continued on the bus for a short time and the drunk went home. the witness returned and told the police where he was and they arrested him for intoxication and manslaughter.there was one other person injured. I will post a picture of the restaurant later today at Deviant art probably. the suv was complety inside and no skid marks thanks for viewing and comments if you have time

Amazing story, I feel sorry for the innocent people that drunk drivers always effect. Cool looking work, great symmetry and colors.

How sad Richard! At times like this it is brought home to us how tenuous life is. It is also a good time to count our blessings, not take anything for granted, and not squander time, because none of us know how much we have. I am so glad we are blessed with your continuing presence and art! A beautiful and exquisite flame! Wonderful image! Leanndra

Richard, IMHO this is one of the finest and most beautiful images I've seen you post (from among very many). The colors, lightplay, forms and composition are exquisite and an absolute visual delight. Bravo!! VOTE Hair raising experience you had, I guess you were "born under a lucky star". Glad you were unharmed! So many are lost or injured this way each year; it brings one's blood to the boil. Seems no matter how much education and advice we provide and no matter how many laws we pass, we can't force people to act responsibly. While I don't cringe at Smitts proposal of the death penalty, it fails to address the overall problem and just wastes another life. Maybe we should think about an irrevocable loss of freedom and a life of uncompensated public services in the fight against the crime they've commited as the penalty for such violators.

Happy to hear you were barely not wrong place, wrong time. It makes us think once again, how personal bad habits, can have a deadly influence on other people. Your work here is really excellent, in concept and execution. I would have spared the "of course. At first glance, couldn't believe this was Apo!!!.LOL and V

While it's easy (and right) to condemn the guy for his negligence, just think of the burden he now carries for the rest of his life, knowing that in a moment he killed someone. Bummer....
