I would like to add this image as # 44 of my 'family album' series
I am still working on : Peter - [Petya]... and I hope to finish it really soon... and post it...
But meantime... I had my B-day :)... and also Valentine's day is here so I thought
to post another story.
Before the story... I would like to share with you what would be my favored gift...
for Valentine's day... it would be a pillow stuffed with lavender.
Here is the story:
For my B-days generally I get very small personal gifts. Like a pink soft rubber eraser.
Most of my lady friends are very busy... but they somehow always find the time to come
up with some small things...
I also like to do a little party. Nothing fancy... just an afternoon get-together,
drinking coffee or tea... and a lot of talking. One of my lady friends, Suzanne, couldn't
come for the party this year. She called, and apologized, and we agreed on a date at
the middle of the week.
She arrived with a big shopping bag. From the bag she took out a small glass bottle, two
delicate vine glasses and a cake. On the bottle was a white label... decorated with flowers... and written
by hand: happy birthday! She made at toast for me... and made a toast for her...
we eat a little cake... and talked a lot.
Time went by, and she had to leave. Seeing her standing up, suddenly I become terrified.
I didn't want her to leave the cake at my place... we hardly took a bite from it... as I do
she does the same... most of the time she is on diet. I didn't know what to do. If she leaves
the cake... I certainly will take another bite from it... and then another bite...
And if I don't want to eat it... I will have to through away... it was a beautiful and
very delicious cake... I knew... I won't through it away...
There was another solution also... to I ask her to take it back with her...
and I knew it isn't the solution... I was sure she will be annoyed. I didn't want to hurt her.
Suzanne noticed that something bothering me... and seeing that I am looking firmly at the cake...
she suddenly started to laugh. 'Oh -- Suzanne said -- don't be so nervous'... I promised to
my granddaughter to visit her... and she'll be happy for the cake'.

Thank for all of you for the nice comments :)... the story is a little bit more complicated... Suzanne is a really busy woman. But she has a wonderful heart also... she is very kind... she wanted to bring me something special so she didn't go and buy a cake from the bakery for me... she asked one of her friends to make a cake. And because I knew how much effort she put into that cake... I just couldn't bring myself to through away it...

I think for Valnetines Day I would give you a logic chip- a shift register. Yes that is as fundamental as a pink rubber eraser. Carry on, chief!!
