Description

Vue 5 Esprit...basically an exercise with atmos and water mats that I am working on. I remember the first time another member here (Thomas Krahn) gave me a tip and a lead to find material to help me improve my images. I was new to Vue and new to Rendo and it was quite a good feeling to realize that I was in a place where I could learn and improve. So...... for all those folks new to Vue and are interested in water scenes, check out the tutorials by pmermino at his web site, www.paroge.com. There are even some free materials to start you on your way. His work with shore lines, ship wakes, and ocean situations in general is the best I have seen. You can then mix and match and make some neat materials yourself once you have the basics techniques understood. Krivak model from gunpoint3D.com

Now really, this is fine water colour or oil work, right? Darn, this is one supurb image - recently I had to look through a bunch of military art and you are right up there on subject and just sea scape in general. Outstanding.

Incredibly realistic. Captivating and still. As usual, very audible... I can 'hear' the water lapping in the ship's wake.
