Few know it was called the "Cobra" in it's design conception and that it's first promoter fell and hit his head in a bar in La Jolla, CA to be replaced as civiilan jolly by yours truly. Something crackled in the static about a Canadian CF-5 driver. I watched "top gun" and smiled as I saw the blonde on a motorcyle riding to Coronado. Glenn Curtiss was my secret sponsor at the gate as I rode up on my 350cc Ducati "Desmo." "No admittance to motocycles" said the guard. Little did he know. Soon I was in the ordnance Dodge crew cab headed for "Fightertown."
