Description

This photo was taken last winter! There's always a photograph that has a little more meaning to ourself at on time or an other ,for me this is the one!It may not look much of a winter scene at first, but there's also a little moral story that goes with it,and I would like to share it with you if I may! My line of work allows me to work outdoor most of the time, during the winter months we have a lots of snow, specialy at higher altitude, and "Patt Creek" is no exception! It's very commun to see more than two feet over night ,almost every night! There as been records snowfalls of over 15 to 20 feet some winters,it makes it very difficult to work at times! For many weeks I passed by this scene almost every day, more snow had fallen, and there's more to come, and I'm wondering, if this poor little "Hemlock" tree, crush down by the weigh of the persistant snow day after day, after day; his nose almost touching the ground, sort of speak! Will he ever give up!Just imagine the long and agonizing wait!!!! I had to take this picture before hand, before it's to late! Near by geants spruces looking down on him, probably making side bets, just to see if he'll make it through the winter? Then one day the rain came to the mountain, and all the snow that keept this little guy in boundage for so long had fallen off his back ,he was now free!Wounded but not beaten,he could now stand once again! My little hero would live to fight an other day! The irony of it all,is that due to maturity ,and the high demande of spruce species over Japon and the USA,those geants of the forest, that though they were invincible, have now been harvested, and a new forest is now growing where they once stood for almost half a century!Who's laughing now? Life can be beautiful!Life can be harsh at times,it's not always fair as we all know!It does'nt matter how hard it seem to be,and what hand you have been dealt with,it is still worth living! Enjoy life while you can!Enjoy it to the fullest !Because you'll never know what's it store for you! Never give up! Never surrender! Thanks for your visites and comments! Have a great week!:)

OOOHHH YYESSS!!! Tr cher, tu avais encore un talent cach Please, you should write more frequently because this words (and the situation with the picture) are something rare and precious!... If I had 4 hands, I would stop hiting this stupid keyboard and applause with every 4 of them! You know I love snow but when we talk about snow, it seems that we don't talk about the same kind of thing because the few centimeters we (rarely) get sometimes is a complete different stuff than what you describe there. Your text is moving because it's pure poetry, because it made me thnik that I should see things a different way and because it's an anthem for nature! I will vote for you (AND I SAY IT!)

By the hammer of Moqthar, this spruce tree shall be revenged LOL! Wonderful to see this tree carrying its burden, day after day, like an old man, until he's relieved of his burden! Excellent work, very original!
