Description

I can see a few things that are slightly off, but I will fix them when I upload the next picture, in a different POV. I have a great book with loads of reference pictures of famous and nice looking buildings, so this is based on Fitzroy Square in London. Of course I used my artisitc license to change a few things. Rendered with fprime, with Monte Carlo radiosity it didn't take long at all, pity I couldn't use any plugins though. Sharpened in photoshop, lighting also edited by photoshop.

This is awsome work!!! You have not posted in a fair while, but this was worth the wait. :o) Excellent!!! How did you do those masonary details around the windows etc(bump or geometry?)

Yeah I have been living abroad without my computer, and I am only holiday at the moment. The bottom half is geometry and the top part is bump on a UVmap, it shouldn't stand out that much but fprime's render quality is almost too good, so it stands out a bit much. Thanks for the comment zeno.

Wow, now that's impressive! I am always amazed with your work. It really does look photographic unless you were to sit there staring at it with a magnifying glass for some time. What an excellent piece. Congratulations, vote.

Great render. I would like to see a little more blue color in the shadows.

The masonry work on the second floor could use a bump map similar to the first floor. Outside of that, it is excellent work. The helix at the top of the columns, are they texture or geometry?
