Green/yellow/orange; what a beautiful combination of colors. Very nice photography here; including the inset. I don't know what flower this is but it sure is beautiful.

When the road has been taken and the trip is completed no one tears down all the motels and road signs. The accompanying traffic goes it's own way. The pavement remains. The sky patterns shimmer with climate. So it is with the place the idea of the trip originated, like a flower, hosted by beauty. The metaphor is hazzardous as someone might ask what color was the trip or was there an aphid on the 79th petal. In that sense it is better to just contemplate the flower and dismiss the photographing impulse. How empty if the trip had not been taken.
