Description

Last in my series of vineyards under the snow. All of these were photographed above Aigle (Switzerland) on 31 Jan 2005. I deliberately left this picture for last to imply the coming of spring, and the melting of the snow. Ironically, it is snowing as I type and I'm sure there is more snow on the ground. Thanks to all of you for your v. kind comments.

I've enjoyed this series very much. When I first looked at this, the left handside appeared to be hundreds of little skiers going downhill! A super image of the vines and walls.

Excellent series CD I have enjoyed them very much, you now seem to be looking at scenes in a slightly different way compared with the earlier shots in your gallery.

Wonderful, striking composition. All those triangles and parallel lines! I might've covered up the little red objects in the upper left, but they don't detract from this excellent presentation.

Shame it's the last. I enjoyed these so much, as I've never seen anything like it before. I hope you post another series when the pickers are at work? It would be great to complete the cycle & the story that way.... Cheers Steve
