Well, I'm happy with it, but I have no idea what the rule of 3's is? Nice, simple render.
pclavett
Just superb sky and light with the perfect POV ! Excellent work Martin !
WeeLaddie
If I really want rule of thirds all I do is scroll up a bit, and to the right a bit, and voile; great sky and lighting in this scene.
EoinArmstrong
A simple cropping wuld help. Still, I think this is excellent! Great pov and atmo; nice lighting and surface too!
Darthmagus
Superb atmo!
inkydigit
rules are to be broken+walls are to be climbed...so get out of you prison, its only in your mind!!!(cultureshock)still as Eoin says you could always crop it down a bit!!...execellnet work here!!!
hillrunner
inkydigit said it and your lighting is wonderful
Rids
3rds should be a guide not a rule as there are plenty of examples where it is successfully broken - this one for example :-)
stbc
Agree with Rids, plus the sky is so lovely, it would be a shame to crop it! Excellent realism and nice sense of depth.

Rules are guidelines which we must follow unless they limit our creativity. Righteously broken, this time! Excellent+++

Agree with eoin, cropping to wide angle woth help the composition. The light and POV are pretty cool.

gradient
very natural, peaceful and realistic.

While you were photographing this picture Martin; the pilot gave no thought about the rule of 1/3rds. You did a marvelous job here ...no credit to the pilot!
