Description

Doing somemore close-up renders with the new M3 HYPERreal shader and texture. I was getting tired of bald men and couldn't get hair to look any good, so used a hat instead... Comments are very welcome. Thanks, Deane

Geeees, this is great. Very close to 'peach-fuzz' on his right cheek. You can experiment with the non-camera facing specular a bit - maybe plug the bump-map into the Outer_Color of the Color_Edge_Blend - may help with peach-fuzz. Good hiding of his eyes. I love the subtle spec on the right side of his nose. Good different colored lights (good effect with the yellow'ed light to the right). My only crit is the yellow highlight on his chest diverts the eye from the action. And maybe his beard - at this angle it shows the smooth edge (so has no depth).

Fantastic close-up you can see so much detail! I like how the hat is positioned! you know I just haven't found any male hair that I like either, so the hat is a good idea ;-)

Great idea!! The POV is perfect!! Excellent detail on the face (dont you just love playing with the HyperReal;) The chest could do with more detail, otherwise this is just perfect!!
