Description

My wife and I were driving down the road enjoying the 72 degree weather today and I saw this old shack...which I'm sure someone once called home...and I wondered how many people had passed through its doors or slept under what once was a leak proof roof and the first thought I had was that no one loves here anymore. Peace to you all.

I imagine there is some critters that call it home now. I love places like this to photograph and explore. Good job. If this were my image I would have cropped the bottom a bit to just above the ditch. That's me though. Exclnt!

Excellent shot, Steve. Our family of 11 grew up in an old, country farm house much like the above one. We were so poor we didn't know we were poor. WINK. No indoor toilet. The outhouse was mighty COLD in winter. Gave us all 'character'. Now ya' know why I'm a 'character'. WINK2. PEACE to you and your better half my good man. BTW - there was a TON of LOVE in it. You see things many don't see, Steve.

This place reminds me of the house where my Dad was born....he took us to this house in a field out in the middle of an old farmstead, and it looked just like this!
