Description
Hullo people. We (as in some friends and I) are currently producing a CG short film and this is the first render test that I make. I see that I have to make some minor changes on some layers but it still came out nice. It will be a long time before you see any trailer or something so I will keep you updated ;)
I know it is not "photorealistic" but we are after some stylized look, not a photorealistic look.
And yes, that's michael 1 :)

wow, i love the whole hazy look to the pic, really emphasises the heat. one thing id sort out though, the shoulder straps on his backpack (shouldnt they be on his shoulders supporting the weight of the pack??)
