It depends! It depends a lot on what you were trying to create. If you planned to create a mountain-scape, I totally agree with you: not realistic at all! But before I read your text, I just thought: wooow, this is the first time I see an "undersea" picture made with terragen and it's f[..]g realistic! So if your purpose was to make an undersea scenery, I think your result is amazing. Anyway, you shouldn't give up so quickly, you have proven to everybody that you were able to have excellent results whatever you decide to use, so... Keep on the good work, Zak!

Ciao Andreas. You also made Terragen Landscapes... welcome ! But don't throw it away !!!! For a first one it's really well done. It seams a seascape in the ocean. Colours are lovely. Be patient, and try more. There are beautifull things to made with Terragen. And for a photographer it's interesting to try to reproduced lights and textures. Have a nice day ! Nathalie and always Giancarlo

I see other people get that "undersea" feel too. Not easy to accomplish so keep rendering. I really like it!!

You've certainly demonstrated an expertise with Terragen atmospherics that belongs in the top drawer of renders. I'm sure many more accomplished uploads will follow.

Its a really good first try. One can see that you didn't just pressed the generate landscape button, moved camera and rendered, no you created something special, really moody. Have fun with this nice proggy (and long rendering times ;-p ) Excellent !

Bravo, Zacko. I once made an underwater shot, and had to figure out why. My wireless mouse was having connection difficulties at the time, but it was a lucky chance. This shot is good, more like a good photo. The only thing that really suggests TERRAGEN is the rock textures. I find getting them right is very difficult, but with more time I will improve. You are already ahead of my first efforts. Keep on rendering, but remember shots involving water take longer to render. Render small, and when you have something you want, render large. Regards, John.

I voted and big sissy knows its wonderful, oh yeah and if you argue with me, its a swirly for you.Muhahaha Truthfully it would make a great underwater scene, add some fishies and wa la you have a beautiful view of the sea and even greater admiration for the artisan whom made the dream come true. Bah I am not sucking up and you know it.I always say it honestly, no matter. ~~LOVE~~GWENNY~*~
