Description

This is a recreation of a old west train station in 'Old Tucson.' I like old things, probably because I am an old thing :-) Once again, Thank you all for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appriciated but valued highly.

Be great with a train behind it, but I like the emptyness. Seems to say, this is just a short stopping point on the great railway of life. Well done!

It is great that you have discovered this setting and then photographed it with deliberate thought and care to composition. The image has a 4x5 quality to it. The conversion process to B&W is perfect as there are good tonal ranges. I might suggest that you consider burning in the upper portion of the sky as Ansel Adams would have done. This will bring out the clouds more. Never-the-less, that is a call made by the photographer in post work as to how they wish to represent their image and it certainly does not distract from the over all presentation here.

Well, heck, man...I'm an old thing too...LOL, but I don't think you have to be old to appreciate spectacular photography when ya see it. Your work has that rustic charm that is so irresistable. You really ought to look into getting some of these framed...defintely marketable! I love this one, Paul...you just have a way of capturing a moment...be it nostalgia, or a silent beauty...it is a gift, and I'm glad you share it here. Excellent art!

A perfect B&W, ditto on webshadow's framing suggestion. It reminds me of the train station to my old Lionel train set.
