Description

The story behind the image. ---------------------------------------- Man has not ventured too far into space - just far enough to find a desolate rock with the minimum elements required to support life. The Earth is bursting at the seams, dangerously overpopulated and the discovery of this small planet was the answer to the governments prayers. They named it 'New Eden' and people were encouraged to up-home and move there. Glossy brochures and the promise of free travel and cheap accomodation swayed many families into making the decision to move - a decision they would soon regret. The new life that many had hoped for soon became a one way ticket to hell. New Eden was two hundred square miles of concret jungle surounded by desert - searing heat during the day and freezing cold at night. The place was infested with drug dealers, brothels, gang warfare and corruption with minimal police presence - not the place to bring up young families. They were promised a holiday city - they got a prison! Wow. Fantstic image. It really takes you there and the story goes a long way to adding to the atmosphere. Very strong talent here.

I always look forward to your images and this is a great one. I like to see more trash and stuff on the buildings as well as some variance and bump in the building textures. Great lighting and I loved the story!
