This one nearly killed my poor and very slow PC. This was my school project and I guess I made a little history in our school..I am the first student who submitted 99% Computer generated school project! but then my professor deducted 5 points from my overall grade hehehe...but they like it!! in fact until now my works are still hanging on the walls for exhibit! anyway.. this image is more on architectural study.. Hope you guys like it too..
Modeled by me in AutoCAD, rendered in Bryce, postwork in PS7.. Sorry forgot where I got those cars..but Thanks to the makers!!
Comments are very welcome..

That is a very cool architectual model and render you display here. Fun to hear that you made history with your school project here :-) Excellent work

This looks great. What is the class about? I am guessing something to do with architecture?

The elevations are interesting. Hey Archie, how about posting the plan views and some more perspectives. The overall massing of the airport is well balanced and scale is good. The render quality you got from killing your PC is great.I am looking forward to more details on this project. In our design studio, now-a-days, most of the presentations are computer generated. I am preparing a 70 ft long plotted sheet for my mixed use development submission. Also created 5 animations for the project. I am going to face the Jury board consisting of 4 ph.d architects in Saturday, 19 th Feb. Wish me luck, buddy. ZINO

Excellent concept shot Archie!..my constructive comments: 1) the repetition of the white dome frame elements can use some variations in size or even color to add interest but keep it subordinate to the main theme. 2) your main theme, the pink glazed structure should probably increase in size also or widen, to keep the eye from wandering. 3) The tower design on the left needs more loving attention, something to tie it in to your main theme, like familiar shapes or color. Take care not to clash with the main theme but like a partner, frame the main theme recalling a scene in the Jennifer Lopez movie "..shall we dance.." where the man's role is to "frame" the flamboyant partner 4) landscaping is very important in presenting the project. Use variation in type and size to embrace the theme. 5) Less is more! reduce other elements to it's simplest form to let the theme show thru while giving the eye a relaxing break. Repetition could be a masterful tool here. In the interior pay close attention to the ceiling, a much forgotten arena for artistic statements and unifying opportunities to keep everything in sync. If you have time, do include simple plan and section graphics, better to effect useful critique...happy rendering my brother- from Rudy, a happily retired architect thanking you for the opportunity to possibly improve our living environments.

Looks Awesome! Congrats :)

Aye, I think you did a wonderous job... It certainly looks tedious, and I can't imagine WHY he deducted points from it! Although the background landscape could be more interesting, all-in-all I find this an excellent presentation. Nice work modeling the airport, too!

Despite everything, and the deductions, this still has topped the achitectural presentation in my old school (since apl3d and me came from the same one!) Fully digital achitectural presentation, Thats what the future stands for! exvellent job both in AutoCad and Bryce! Might as well make up your own Archi Firm right? Haha =)
