Description

Just wanted to do another island scene, but with a red sunset. It started with imagining a warm tropical breeze and an island of palms. But before I knew it, there was a volcano, and it became active. Credits: boat from freebie section (I think). It's been a while I've had it and no longer remember where it came from. Slight postwork with the foam around the boat.

Rocks! The smoke for the volcano was made by putting together a bunch of rocks at different sizes. In Materials there is a texture category called "Volume" which has "volcanic ash" and "tire burning". I also placed a second layer of rocks with tire burning material and made it a bit less dense to get some depth into the ash.
