Description

I thought about the lost city of Atlantis and wondered if somewhere out there in world, or perhaps another dimension, there are remnants of the city. That is my inspiration behind the Lost Temple. This is my first time using Vue, I hope you enjoy!

As said, not bad at all for a first try. My first pic didn't look nearly as good as his. That being said, i have a whole host of suggestions for you, I hope you undderstand that I mean well with them, and hope you can use them to improve in teh future. First of all, try having a varied texture on the terrain. SOmething that bothers me about Vue rock textures is that they look too plain in their patters, especially out of direct light (like the steep part of the terrain in this picture) Try something more different, like a mixed material. Secondly, try putting vegitation or something aroun dthe temple so that it pops out a bit more, composotion wise. Wit h that, the eye is more attracted to the change in color. Because there are essentially two basic colors in this one, the brown of the terrain and temple and the blue of the sky and water, the eye is seaching for a place to look when it sees this. That being said, this image has one subtle detail that I really like. That moon there is bright, and kind of camoflagued with the sky and clouds. Something that you don't initially see, but the way the side comes up from the roof of the temple is cool. Not sure if that part was intentional, but the first visible part is almost lined up with the edge of the temple. Great job on the water, just add more variation in the textures and colors. Great job for your first try, may it not be your last!

Well done - can't really disagree with Daron up there - but don't forget to have fun with this stuff and the details will come.
