Description
Busted flat in Baton Rogue,
and headed for the train,
feelin nearly faded as jeans,
Bobby thumbed a diesel down,
Lord just before it rained,
took us all the way to New Orleans
I took my harpoon out of my dirty red bandana,
and was blowin sad while Bobby sang the blues,
With them windshield wipers slappin time,
and Bobby clappiin hands,
we finally sang up every song that driver knew,
Freedoms just another word for nothin left to loose,
nothin aint worth nothin but it's free,
feelin good was easy Lord when Bobby sang the blues,
feelin good was good enough for me,
good enough for me and my Bobby McGee,
From the cole,
From the cole mines of Kentuck,
to the California sun,
Bobby shared the secrets of my soul,
standin right beside me Lord,
thru everything I'd done,
every night she kept me from the cold,
somewhere near Salinas Lord,
I let her slip away,
lookin for the home I hope she'd find,
and I'd trade all of my tomorrows for a single yesterday,
holdin Bobby's body next to mine.
Freedoms just another word for nothin left to loose,
nothin left is all she left for me,
feelin good was easy Lord when Bobby sang the blues,
Buddy that was good enough for me,
good enough for me and Bobby McGee.
My first introduction to this song was by Kris Kristopherson. I believe that we all have a Bobby McGee in our past. I know I do.
The beard was by Boohoo
The background had been downloaded a long time ago, I tried but could not find the artist.

You captured a wonderful romantic mood in your image and I really like how they are relating. Excellent atmosphere, too. Very nice artwork. Hope to see more. :o) CC
