Well, the image it self is very ccool. I like the composition. What verion of Vue is this? If it supports HDRI/GI/GR, that would be the best option for a scene such as this. While I like the texture on the land in the foreground, behind it it seems tiled. Is it al alpha plane? If so, try working a little more with the base textures in Vue, and looking at them. You don't need a bitmap texture for something like this. Good composition, I really like it in this one. Just work on the textures and the lighting, patucularly focusing on the shadows.

Yes it is a jpeg image and has Global radiosity.I'm not very happy with some of the textures either, but i posted the image anyway because it took 9 hours to render... Maybe a repost is needed...
