Inside the Black Within us all, our souls guide our actions, our feelings. It keeps us in check, helping us do the right thing, most of the time. However, inside our souls, something else lives. It thrives on the sights we see and wish to forget, the feelings we have and wish to block, the secret wants and desires we can never reveal. It shouldn't seem too difficult, it should be easy to stop these captive thoughts and feelings from surfacing...it should be. Sometimes we loose this battle with the black. Feelings surface...the hate, the rage...the totality of the uncaring demon within bears its teeth and grins...the knowing, having the ability to kill...and truly not care...the emptiness of feeling towards all other life, including your own...seeing the demon....and knowing it's you. It a little black spot on the light of our souls, and we all fight to contain it. Some are able to contain this very easily, and yet, for some it is an ever-present everyday battle. This blackness is all consuming. What once was the light of your caring soul is now as black as true nothingness and, that little pinprick that once was the blackness is now the light of your soul. Now the light is trying to get out, attempting to gain control...fighting for itself. But what if it looses? Sometimes that happens, leaving only the demon. The uncaring hatred...the guilt free longing to not just kill...not just destroy...but remove entirely those things around it. All are nothing more than a thing to it. ***To Be Continued***
