Description

What you might call a remote location... This is a pretty simple image, just terrains, castle and bridges made from primitives in Bryce, and birds and clouds done with photoshop, but I like the feel. I positioned the camera very high and pointed it downward. You can almost taste the grit from the dust in the air. Hope you like it, and thanks for any comments.

Wow! This is fantastic! The birds are a very nice finishing touch as well. The whole atmosphere is great too.

I really like this image very moody. I would however done the castle a little darker to fit the mood. Great image!

I felt the same thing as both Vile, and dunedan's comments. I had tried many textures on the bridges and darker ones on the castle, but they didn't seem to stand out or have any detail, so I ended up with this combination. I even had to put a spotlight shining on the castle in the end to get the right look. As for the rock texture used, Is one of the freebies from www.3dcafe.com under the stone and brick category.
