Description
It is for the XVIth century when Jean-Louis Nicolas de Bouliers copied the Renaissance castles of the Val de Loire and the surrounding area, and made the transformations and the increases of an old medieval castle. During the centuries, under various owners, the castle was embellished inside, and outside: orange grove, gardens in terraces. The last owner, Jean-Baptiste Jérome de Bruny made a cultural centre which the connoisseurs and the scholars came to visit. An accidental fire in 1780 and the revolution in 1792 ruined the building which served then as quarry until the General Council of Vaucluse goes buyer at the end of the XIXth century.

Beauti-foule!
