Description

Okay, this time in sepia You won't believe it, but I love such oooooooooold houses. They seems to me like last living fragments of very old time... When you stand close up to them you can feel and smell the middle age. For example, I don't like the renovated one in the background. Thank you for the great, helpful and funny comments for may last pic (Open house or SCH

Ratten fger von Hammlin, comes to mind. Sorry for any mis-spelling in German, it has been too long ago. Also, if my memory serves me correct, this is in Northern Germany since the architecture, the dark beams represent secrete rune symbols. Schleswig-Holstein area? Enough about geography. I love this image since old structures have a charm and beauty about themselves we artist adore. Another comment is that the decision to duo-tone the print is one that enhances the pictures charm and a correct decision since B&W would not have served it well.

Sorry, only a joke!!!!

I just love the textures and atmosphere that this shot creates, the house in the foreground is a great contrast to the one behind it !

when I am working(very little lately) I work painting homes in an affluent area for wealthy only, and believe it or not I have came across homes in this condition. the property is worth 500,000 to 1,000,000 (American)and a dump house. and they want miracles and are too cheap to pay for the repairs. excellent capture and what could be a beautful home. we call this style tutor-V
