Very neat image. It seems to me that it's rather an optical illusion, too. If you blur your eyes and look it, it looks like rows of 3D blue balls. If you look at it in focus, it looks like mostly flat blue squares. Nice effect either way.

Uniform fractal patterns don't usually grab me, however the pattern does change enough to draw me into the image. Very nice. Great color and a sense of lighting give the image a rendered look.
