Description

A scenic view looking to the east from 'Old Tucson.' Am trying to duplicate what I used to be able to do with 4 x 5 print film. Still not satisfied and feel that more needs to be done 'in camera.' Still trying to figure out digital negatives :-) Once again, Thank you all for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appriciated but valued highly.

Great shot, there is a little bit of noise on the edges of the mountains and the branches in the upper right corner. Very good composition!!!!"V"

Yeah, that is hard to duplicate. Especially when there is pixelation around teh hard edges in the image. But still a beautiful shot!

Hmmm yes, we all like to make things difficult do we, I like very much the sky and i like the little pieces of noise on thos grass and stems, not so much on the mountains, but I see what you are tryin to do, and is not easy, so I have to say great job, and keep at it, it will work for you fine. Eccellent. V LIna

Reminds me of old John Ford movies - all you need is John Wayne and the US Cavalry!

may have seen them when I went out west just past thought Tucson on I10 I think lol. I love those mountains and say to myseft there stories to be told in those mountains with bones and history things you find . oh I see what you doing you have to use a diff tool to cut with; the edge tool will leave those edges like that. so I use the other tool[ forgot what you call it lol] to cut with. It take longer but it a sharp edge and then any errors I use the tranparant brush set at 100% sharp to get the errors out

Sorry to see the technical difficulties happening here for the location is a perfect one. If your in the area, then plan on going back at some point. Let's hope that the clouds will be back to.

Maybe a little rough on the edges... but still a heck of an image. Sort of like the grainy feel.

Very good image. Unfortunately too much compressed (or oversharpened, whatever causes the halos)
